PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a punch for a press die capable of drilling a workpiece and chamfering the outer edge of the opening part of a hole formed in the workpiece with small man-hours, and preventing burrs protruded inside the hole from forming in the workpiece during the chamfering work, and to provide a guide structure and a chamfering method in a stripper plate of the punch for the press die. SOLUTION: In a punch 1 for the press die having a blade tip part 2 to punch a workpiece to open a hole in the workpiece, and a shank 3 which is continuous to the blade tip part 2 and is larger in diameter than the blade tip part 2, a chamfering unit 5 which is pressed against and brought into contact with the outer edge of an opening part on the punch-starting side of the hole opened in the workpiece to chamfer the outer edge is provided on the stepped portion of a boundary part between the blade tip part 2 and the shank 3.
