<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economical tree planting roof structure capable of being easily constructed in a short time and being advantageous as structure conditions of a metallic folded plate roof when forming a tree planting face by vegetation in an upper part of the metallic folded plate roof. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of planting trays A which have a square shape and whose lateral width is set to substantially same dimension as an interval between crest parts 1a and 1a are provided in mutually adjacent crest parts 1a, 1a of the metallic folded plate roof 1. The planting trays are fixed by holding four corners of the planting tray A down by a planting tray fixing fitting B attached to the crest parts 1a, 1a at an interval matching with longitudinal width of the planting tray A to form a tree planting face S covering the metallic folded plate roof 1 by vegetation (a).
