PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide photographing equipment capable of managing growth record of a child. SOLUTION: Name and birth date of a child are registered beforehand. When a child is selected at the time of photographing, the lapse of years after the birth date of that child is calculated based on the current date being acquired from a timer. When a photograph is taken, message data depending on the lapse of years after the birth date of a selected child and the date of photographing is read out from an EEPROM and that message is synthesized to be displayed at a specified position of a photograph image.
