PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet head which can prevent a driving IC from being adversely affected by heat, by making the heat escape properly, even if the inkjet head generates the heat. SOLUTION: This inkjet head 1 is equipped with: an inkjet head chip 7 whose leading end surface has an ink ejection port 7a; a manifold 8 which is attached to a side part of the inkjet head chip and which leads ink to the inkjet head chip; a cap retaining plate 17 which is attached to the ink ejection port-arranged side of the manifold, which has an opening 17a for exposing the ink ejection port, and which closely adheres to a cap member 25 for recovering and maintaining an ejection state of the ink ejection port; and a casing frame 18 which houses them and which abuts on at least the cap retaining frame.
