PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely insulate between coil end parts of different phases by eliminating displacement of a interphase insulating paper. SOLUTION: In a manufacturing process of a stator of the rotary electric machine, an interphase insulating paper 3 which is inserted between coil ends 20v and 20w of different phase for insulation between phases, is press-formed, in advance, into a three-dimensional form that follows the surface on the side facing the coil end 20w of a coil of the phase inserted after expansion, forming of the coil end 20v of a coil of the phase inserted first into the slot of a core 1.
