PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating/cooling system capable of reducing the power consumption. SOLUTION: This heating/cooling system comprising a first accommodating chamber 5 for accommodating a heated object and a second accommodating chamber 7 for accommodating a cooled object, is constituted by successively circularly connecting a compressor 10, a gas cooler 12, a capillary tube 14 as a pressure reducing means, an evaporator 16 and the like by pipes, and comprises a refrigerant circuit 20 using carbon dioxide as a refrigerant.
