PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the getting-off property of a passenger who sits on a seat behind a driver's seat. SOLUTION: A vehicle door 11 through which passengers get on/off is driven by a door driving mechanism 14 for a vehicle 1. In the vehicle 1, the state of a second seat ST2 which can be moved in a specified way by the operation of operating members 54 and 55 is changed, or the seat position of the second seat ST2 is moved by the operation. By performing at least one of those actions, a space SP between a third seat ST3 and a vehicle door 11 is extended by this vehicle door controlling device 10. In the vehicle door controlling device, the operating members 54 and 55 performs the demand for the action of the second seat ST2, and at the same time, performs the demand for the opening/closing of the vehicle door 11.
