PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor material manufacturing method capable of laminating a decorative sheet to a base material in a wrinkle-free state. SOLUTION: The floor material is manufactured by laminating the decorative sheet on one side of the base material comprising wood through an adhesive. This manufacturing method has a process for arranging the decorative sheet A on a standby plane 51a formed into a mesh like state and sucking air from the mesh apertures of the standby plane 51a to suck the decorative sheet A to the standby plane 51a under negative pressure, a process for holding the decorative sheet A on the standby plane 51a to the holding surface 522a of a moving device 52 and a process for allowing the decorative sheet A to be spaced apart from the standby plane 51a while holding the same to the holding surface 522a by the moving device 52 to laminate the same on one side of the base material B coated with the adhesive.
