PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To freely set the display position of a calling display light inside a nurse call master unit in accordance with the demand or layout of the site. SOLUTION: A nurse call system comprises: slave units 4a and 4b provided on beds inside a sickroom and provided with slave unit calling buttons 41a and 41b for patients to call nurses; toilet slave units 6a and 6b provided in toilets inside the sickroom and provided with toilet calling buttons 61a and 61b; a centralized corridor light 3 for detecting the calling of the slave unit calling buttons or the toilet calling buttons and reporting the calling through a controller 2 to the nurse call master unit 1 provided with the calling display lights 11a-11d; and a CPU 31 for displaying the same calling display light 11a of the nurse call master unit in the case that the patient calls the nurse by pressing the slave unit calling button and in the case that the patient calls the nurse by pressing the toilet calling button.
