PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of a present hand drying apparatus dispersing blown-back droplets, when inserting the hands, dispersing malodor generated from inside a hand insertion part and, when driving the apparatus, giving discomfort to a user and surrounding persons, and to prevent the dispersion of the droplets and malodor to the outside by installing an air inlet in this side of an outlet in a hand insertion part, creating a suction air flow, and sucking the droplets and the malodor. SOLUTION: The hand insertion part 3 is provided with the outlet 4 and the air inlet 8 in its inside and the air inlet 8 is disposed in this side of the outlet 4. This constitution creates the suction air flow from the air inlet 8 so as to suck, when inserting the hands, not only the blown-back droplets but also the malodor generated from the inside of the hand insertion part 4 so as to prevent their dispersion to the outside.
