PRINTER, PRINTING SYSTEM, PRINTING METHOD, ITS PROGRAM, AND PRINTING CONTROL PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printer, a printing system, a printing method, and its program by which secrecy holding can be improved without sharply increasing processing load and communication load at the time of printing processing.

SOLUTION: A host computer 1 adds encryption key issue identification information to printing data and transmits a printing job including encrypted printing data encrypted by an encryption key to a printer 2. The printer 2 stores the encryption key issue identification information included in the print job received in the past and information for identifying the host computer 1 as history information in relation with job ID for identifying the print job and extracts the encryption key issue identification information by the encrypted printing data included in a newly received print job. Then the printer 2 decides whether the newly received print job is to be performed or not by collating the extracted encryption key issue identification information with the encryption key issue identification information included in the history information.
