<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To open/close a cap constantly with a stable small torque by preventing screw tightening torque at a final stage of tightening the screw of the cap from largely varying, and to provide a container mouth tube and a seal of a packingless cap excellent in sealability. <P>SOLUTION: A synthetic resin container consists of a container body and the packingless cap. A surface with an enlarged diameter is provided at the upper end of the inner peripheral surface of the mouth tube of the container body. An engaging surface coming into contact with the top face of the mouth tube is provided on a lower surface of a periphery of the top wall of the cap. In addition, an inner seal with a V-shaped cross section is suspended, which includes a foot extending downwardly outward from the lower surface of the top wall of the cap inside the engaging surface, and a seal to be engaged with the inner peripheral surface without contact with the surface with the enlarged diameter of the mouth tube. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
