<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To raise performance to detect a blood vessel lesion part, piercing performance in the blood vessel lesion part, and soft touch, concerning the tip end part structure of medical guide wire where the tip end part of a flexible wire body is in a "shape obtained by fitting a coil body 3 to core wire 2". <P>SOLUTION: The medical guide wire includes a tip end part 6, where the coil body 3 is externally fitted to the core wire 2 and a leading cap 4 is arranged at the tip ends of the core wire 2 and the coil body 3. A part between the leading cap 4 and a core wire fixing part 11 for fixing the core wire 2 and the inner part of the coil body 3 is defined as an extreme tip end part 10.
