<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress any unbalanced load on an elevator car, and to eliminate partial wear of a guide device and a guide rail, vibration when the elevator car travels, and poor ride quality in the elevator car caused by the vibration. <P>SOLUTION: A car balancing device which is mounted on an elevator car to adjust any unbalanced load of the elevator car comprises a balance weight installed on a bottom part of the elevator car, a weight transfer device to transfer the balance weight, a detector to detect the height of the elevator car, a weight movement control device to transmit the weight movement control data to cancel the unbalanced load of the elevator car corresponding to the information on the elevator car height detected by the detector, and a balance weight drive system which receives the weight movement control data, transfers the balance weight to be transferred by the weight transfer device to cancel the unbalanced load of the elevator car and to balance the elevator car. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
