<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foamable composition based on E/CTFE and PTFE which does not use a foaming agent, which has at least 10% porosity, and which can give a uniform electric coating having a high electric insulation and a good uniform foamed coating. <P>SOLUTION: The composition comprises: (A) 50-99.9% by weight of at least one copolymer (1) of ethylene (E) and chlorotrifluoroethylene (CTFE) (containing 53-70% by moles of CTFE and 0.1-10% by moles of a third monomer ad libitum, and having a crystallinity in the range of 5-45%); and (B) 0.1-50% by weight of a nucleating agent, under fine powder, having an average particle size of lower than 50μm, preferably lower than 20μm and a melting temperature of≥300°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
