PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce costs of a toner remaining inspection in an image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: A light guiding member provided in a toner storage part is created by integrally molded transparent resin. The light guiding member assures light intensity by performing total reflection. In addition, an appropriate opening is provided in a light receiving part so that an influence over arrangement of a measurement system and positional error at the time of measurement is reduced.
