摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new technique for learning character strings enabling a learner to reasonably and efficiently learn character strings by presenting to the learner character strings stored in a character string dictionary and attribute information of the character strings.

SOLUTION: Extraction conditions for a test are set and, based on the extraction conditions, character strings are extracted out of the character string dictionary. The extracted character strings are outputted to the learner, and responses from the learner are collected. By analyzing the collected responses, character strings that the learner does not know are estimated. Then, extraction conditions for extracting important character strings out of the estimated character strings are set and, based on the extraction conditions, character strings and attribute information of the character strings and familiarity are extracted out of the character string dictionary. The extracted character strings are rearranged in the order of familiarity and outputted together with the attribute information to the learner. Thus, the learner can learn the character strings starting from the one that the learner does not know and in the order of importance.
