<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cassette having a cassette structure optimum for recording medium using columnar crystal grown by the vapor growth method. <P>SOLUTION: The cassette is constituted of a front member 10 and a back member 20, and contains a sheet recording medium 28 consisting of columnar crystal grown by the vapor growth method, within a thickness of 20μm to 2 mm.
