PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interphase insulating paper, along with its production method, capable of assuring insulation between coil phases even if a coil end is miniaturized. SOLUTION: In the interphase insulating paper 10, noses 22 and 32 protruding in the inner peripheral direction of a stator core 52 are so pasted on flat parts 20 and 30 as to cover the peripheral edges of cut-out parts 26 and 36 formed by clipping in the axial direction of the stator core 52 with an end part left out. So, two flat surfaces, the noses 22 and 32 as well as parts 20a and 30a of a flat surface part, constitute nose parts 21 and 31 matching the coil end shape after finish forming. The noses 22 and 32 are formed using the cut-out part of a resin sheet 25 which is a base of the interphase insulating paper 10. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
