PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of bubbling of a liquid crystal under reduced pressure generated when a liquid crystal display panel is manufactured by a dropping bonding method. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal dropping device for dropping the liquid crystal onto the surface of one substrate of two substrates to be bonded to each other for forming the liquid crystal display panel is provided with a syringe 11 for holding the liquid crystal 18 in the inside, a pressurizing means for pressurizing the inside of the syringe 11 by using a gas and a pressure reducing means for reducing the pressure of the inside of the syringe 11. The pressurizing means comprises a a pressurizing valve 14 and the pressure reducing means comprises an exhaust valve 15. The liquid crystal dropping device is preferably so constituted that the pressure in the inside of the syringe 11 is periodically reduced by the pressure reducing means. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
