PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roller with a retainer capable of increasing a bearing load capacity in a limited space, preventing rollers on both the outer diameter side and the inner diameter side from falling under a non-assembly condition to equipment, and providing ease for installing work. SOLUTION: This device is constituted out of the retainer 1 and the plurality of rollers 2. The retainer 1 has an annular portion 1a of which the diameter is larger than the one of a pitch circular diameter PCD of roller arrangement and a collar portion 16 protruded from both ends in an axial direction of the annular potion 1a to the inner periphery side. A plurality of pockets 3 in which the rollers 2 are put respectively are formed in the annular portion 1a in line with the circumferential direction, and the spaces and portions between the pockets form column portions 7. A bent piece shaped roller retaining pawl 10A is provided at a portion between the adjacent rollers 2 in an inner diameter portion of the annular potion 1a as a means for stopping the rollers 2 from falling off the inner diameter side of the rollers 2 in the retainer 1. A filling ratio P of the rollers 2 to an overall periphery of the retainer 1 is set at least 80%. The filling ratio P is P=(d×n)/(D×II), where d is taken as the roller diameter, n is taken as the number of the rollers, and D is taken as the pitch circle diameter for the roller arrangement.
