PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an individual discrimination device capable of simplifying passage operation of an authorized person already permitted to pass a predetermined place. SOLUTION: An entrance doorway of a building 1 and doorways of rooms 3 and 4 have doors 5 to 7 with electric locks 8 to 10, and individual discrimination devices 11 to 13 are provided in the vicinity of each doorway. Card readers, finger-print readers and ten keys, etc., are arranged to the individual discrimination devices 11 to 13. A passing person operates the card reader of the individual discrimination devices 11 with a discrimination card. If [OK] is outputted, a finger print is inputted by making use of the finger-print reader, and if [OK] is outputted, the electric lock 8 is unlocked to give permission for passage. The same result occurs in the rest of doorways. When two kinds of the individual discrimination the number of [OKs] outputted reaches a predetermined time, and then if the card reader acquires [OK], permission for passing the place is given.
