PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment chemical injection device which can be easily installed in various water systems, such as an open circulation cooling water system, facilitates the inspection, repair, and extension of a chemical injection point, raises no problem of corrosion and scale due to an injected water treatment chemical, has a simple constitution, and can be easily applied to existing equipment. SOLUTION: The water treatment chemical injection device for injecting the water treatment chemical into a main line through which water passes, comprises a bypass line 4 that branches from the main line 3 through a branch part 5A and joins to the main line 3 through a joint part 5B, a water treatment chemical injection means 7 for injecting the water treatment chemical into this bypass line 4, and a means P<SB>1</SB>that generates a pressure difference between the branch part 5A side and the joint part 5B side of the bypass line 4. As the water treatment chemical injected into the bypass line 4 is diluted with water in the bypass line 4 to flow into the main line 3, the main line 3 is free from the problems of the corrosion, scale, etc. due to the water treatment chemical. Even when a plant on the main line 3 side is being operated, the bypass line 4 and the chemical injection point 6 of the bypass line 4 can be arbitrarily opened and the inspection, repair, and extension of the chemical injection point 6 can be performed.
