[Also in Division H1] A superconductor memory matrix comprises a continuous sheet 2 of soft superconductor such as tin with two sets of adjacent control conductors 11, 12, 13 and 21, 22, 23 of hard superconductor such as lead, which lie in different planes parallel to the sheet 2 and with parallel superimposed portions 3 where one set of control conductors is narrower than, and lies completely within, the width of the other. In this way the operation of the memory device does not depend on the width or precise relative position of the narrower control conductors.
