<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic conference system for enabling participants to easily and surely extract significant speaking or attentional speaking during progress of the conference. <P>SOLUTION: Conference participants use a portable telephone set carried by each of the participants to access a conference system, and when there is speaking determined to be significant during a conference in which the participant participate or when there is effective speaking to be later confirmed or the like, the participants instructs bookmark insertion. Because of this, by monitoring how bookmarks are inserted, when the conference makes meaningful progress, bookmarks are actively inserted, and when the conference is stagnant, bookmarks are hardly inserted. Therefore, by giving advice on conference progress, e.g., by voice when bookmark insertion is stagnant, the conference can make exact progress. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
