<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbonized tile with a carbide layer of carbon containing waste materials, suitable for mass-production, as a building material formed in a tile fashion which contributes to recycling the carbon containing waste materials, makes room air clean and improves the comfortability of a room space, and has extremely high decorating effects. <P>SOLUTION: In the carbonized tile using the carbon containing waste materials as raw materials, the carbon containing waste materials are carbonized into powdered coal and then subjected to heat and pressure molding to form powdered coal burned substances 2 in desired shape which are arranged and fixed onto a rectangular base plate 3 having one side of size L in a desired pattern.
