<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable flush gate without causing a hindrance to opening-closing operation of a valve element, by surely carrying solid foreign matter such as sediment to the downstream side in overturning operation of the valve element for flush cleaning, without selecting an installation position. <P>SOLUTION: This flush gate has the valve element 2 having a lower end part pivoted to a gate part 7 in a bottom part of a waterway 8 or in the vicinity of the bottom part, and freely rockable between a rising water cut-off attitude for blocking up the waterway 8 and an overturning attitude for opening the waterway 8, and an attitude switching mechanism 3 for maintaining the rising water cut-off attitude by a holding part until a water level of the waterway 8 rises to a flush performing water level, and allowing rocking to the overturning attitude by releasing the holding part when reaching the flush performing water level. The flush gate is constituted so as to form a water communicable opening between the bottom part of the waterway 8 and the valve element 2, when being in the overturning attitude, in response to tilting of the valve element 2 to the overturning attitude. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
