PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiper device, giving a suitable error angle to a wiper blade by an inexpensive means regardless of the length of a wiper arm and the radius of curvature of a window. SOLUTION: In this wiper device, a retainer supporting the wiper blade 30 is connected to an arm head 17 to tilt around the axis crossing a pivot 25 of the arm head, and a tilting spring 16 is locked in the retainer 18, whereby the retainer 18 is tilted according to the rocking angle of the wiper arm 20 by the expanding and contracting elastic force of the tilting spring.
