PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system wherein a command transmitted from control equipment is appropriately routed to terminal equipment connected to a different protocol domain. SOLUTION: In a network architecture, inherent protocol domains 201, 301 are connected to a common protocol domain 101 via gateways 2, 3, the gateways 2, 3, pieces of terminal equipment 4, 5 connected to the inherent protocol domains 201, 302. To the pieces of terminal equipment 4, 5 connected to the gateways 2, 3 and the inherent protocol domain 201, 203 and services provided in the relevant pieces of terminal equipment 4, 5, identifiers to uniquely identify each of them are imparted. When the control equipment 1 connected to the common protocol domain transmits a command to the pieces of terminal equipment 4, 5 or to the services provided in the relevant pieces of terminal equipment, the identifier imparted to the pieces of terminal equipment that becomes the transmission destination of the command, or to the service provided in the relevant pieces of terminal equipment, is defined as one of information included in the command.
