PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect the actual amount of ventilation by a ventilating device, to specify causes of performance deterioration of the ventilating device and to notify a user of the causes, as the causes of the actual air pollution, such as the excessive generation of contaminant and the shortage of ventilation, can not be specified when a degree of the air pollution is displayed by a displaying function used in the ventilating device of a dwelling house. SOLUTION: This ventilating device comprises an air speed/air volume measuring means 2 for measuring an air speed or an air volume, an air volume determining means for determining the air volume by comparing the air volume measured by the air speed/air volume measuring means 2 with the predetermined air volume, and a notifying means 4 for notifying the notification items determined in advance in accordance with a result of the determination of the air volume. Thereby the actual air volume, that is, the amount of ventilation by the ventilating device 1 can be notified to the user, and whether the performance deterioration of the ventilating device 1 is caused by the air pollution or the excessive generation of contaminant, can be recognized.
