PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent galvanic corrosion, in a valve seat arranged in an installation receiving part arranged in an intake port of an aluminum alloy cylinder head. SOLUTION: The iron-based valve seat 10 is arranged in the installation receiving part 13 arranged in the intake port 6 of the aluminum alloy cylinder head 2, and is formed of an iron-aluminum-based material. An Al component of the iron-aluminum-based material is set to 15 to 23 wt.%. An electric potential difference between the installation receiving part 13 of the cylinder head 2 and the valve seat 10, is minimized to prevent the galvanic corrosion. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
