PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a form supporting device capable of being used particularly for a metal form and excellent in handleability and economy. SOLUTION: The form supporting device 1 has a form receiving section 7 secured on the top end of a stay pipe 2 comprising a round pipe via a length adjusting means and a pressure bearing plate 3 provided on the bottom end of the stay pipe 2. The form receiving section 7 has a pair of reception pieces opposite to each other with a specified interval, and the reception pieces each have an approximately U-shaped pin receiving recess formed in the distal end thereof. The length-adjusting means is formed by rotatably and detachably securing a screw jack 4 having a female screw in the inside face to the top end of the stay pipe 2 and screwing a bolt member 6 connected with the form receiving section 7 in the female screw of the screw jack 4.
