PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbon nanotube-containing fiber, without impairing characteristic of the carbon nanotube, uniformly dispersed with the carbon nanotube and excellent in conductivity and mechanical strengths, and to provide a method for producing the fiber. SOLUTION: The carbon nanotube-containing fiber comprises a conductive polymer (a) and carbon nanotube (c), and the method for producing the carbon nanotube-containing fiber comprises a spinning step for obtaining a spun raw fiber by extruding a composition comprising the conductive polymer (a), a solvent (b) and the carbon nanotube (c) into a coagulation bath, and a drawing step for drawing the spun raw fiber.
