PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an oral composition having an excellent real feeling of remaining a pharmaceutically efficacious ingredient in the oral cavity, having the real use feeling as a slightly viscous feeling, capable of easily penetrating spaces between the teeth and the gums, having good dispersion stability, when an abrasive, a perfume oil, or the like, is mixed thereinto, having an excellent outward appearance as merchandise, having excellent usability, and capable of being atomized into a foggy state by a spray, to provide a method for producing the same, and to provide a method for using the same. SOLUTION: The oral composition contains one, two, or more kinds of gelling agents selected among agar, gellant gum, carrageenan, pectin, and sodium alginate, and further contains a crosslinking agent for crosslinking the gelling agents, wherein the composition contains microgel particles having an average particle diameter of not less than 0.01μm and less than 1,000μm, and further has a viscosity of 1 to 5,000 mPa×s at 25°C.
