PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a detergent composition imparting sufficient moist feeling to the hair with smooth finger passing during washing and rinsing the hair and without hair stiffening after finishing hair washing. SOLUTION: The detergent composition comprises a graft chain-introduced (co)polymer produced by polymerizing a macromonomer having (A) at least one species of monomer units having cationic groups and (B) at least one species of monomer units having no ionic groups as essential constituent components and a polyfunctional monomer.
