The method involves determining a natural frequency signal with a natural frequency of at least one low frequency oscillation that is to be damped from a signal of a revolution rate control loop of the regulated drive, amplifying the detected signal depending on a defined degree of damping and feeding this amplified signal back in relation to a defined desired motor revolution rate value. An independent claim is also included for a device for damping low frequency load oscillations for regulated drive.
