The invention provides elastomer films excellent in transparency, mechanical properties, heat resistance, impact resistance and colorability and a process for the production of the same. An elastomer material is obtained by kneading together a modified olefin copolymer having polar groups which comprises ethylene, propylene, and 8-methyl-8-carboxytetra- cyclo[4.4.0.1<2,5>.1<7,10>]-3-dodecene and tetra(n-butoxy)- zirconium which is a metal compound, and granulating and palletizing the obtained composition; and then press-molding of the obtained pellets gives an elastomer film having an elastomer layer wherein the modified olefin copolymer is crosslinked with the metal compound by electrical interaction through the polar groups of the copolymer.
