PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To judge the suitability of printing in accordance with a printing state.

SOLUTION: A storage part 12 in a printing management device stores a rule management library 33 including rule data which are standards for judging the suitability of printing setting and a schedule file 31 including schedule data. A schedule correspondence part 51 reads out the schedule data and acquires a printing purpose. A printing setting acquisition part 52 acquires the printing setting through a communication part 14. A suitability judgment part 53 judges the suitability of the printing setting on the basis of the acquired printing purpose and printing setting by referring to the rule management library 33.
