<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a speed of processing on respective scanning lines constituting an image during image processing for improving throughput while reducing a necessary memory area. <P>SOLUTION: In this image processing device performing image processing in parallel by means a plurality of processors, each of scanning lines is divided into a plurality of partial areas, and on at least one scanning line constituting an image, image processing is carried out in parallel by allocating at least one of a plurality of processors to each of the partial areas.
