<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a membrane-electrode assembly preventing position slippage of the membrane even if shock is applied during transportation to a membrane assembly prepared by interposing a solid polymer membrane between two electrode membranes. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the membrane-electrode assembly for a solid polymer fuel cell is that the solid polymer membrane is interposed between two electrode membranes and they are hot-pressed. Before the solid polymer membrane is interposed between two electrode membranes to form a membrane assembly and the membrane assembly is set in a hot press device, the membrane assembly is heat bonded in several portions to tentatively fix the membranes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
