<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication apparatus by which a user can erase a plurality of unnecessary messages at a time and easily. <P>SOLUTION: The radio communication apparatus is provided with an antenna portion 1, a radio portion 2, a waveform shaping portion 3, a decoder portion 4, a control portion 5, an information controlling circuit 6, an EEPROM portion 7, a memory portion 8, a display controlling circuit 9, a display portion 10, an operation portion 11, a motor portion 12, a LED portion 13, and a singing portion 14. A received message is stored in the memory portion 8 and displayed on the display portion 10 in time series. In the case that messages which the user assigns among displayed messages are collectively erased, after a selection erasing function is selected, the selected message among the displayed messages is decided and marked as an erased message.
