<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further increase luminance of surface light emission on a lens. <P>SOLUTION: If a LED 2 is made to emit light, light from the LED 2 enters the plane of incidence of the group of fine pitched reflective prism elements of a lens 4, and is reflected on the reflecting surface of the group of the fine pitched reflective prism elements 12. Especially, a part of the light is reflected in the normal direction V-V of the lens 4, and is irradiated to the outside from the lens 4. Since almost all light which has entered the group of the fine pitched reflective prism elements 12 of the lens 4 is irradiated to the outside in this way, and it can be used as illumination light L1, L2, L3, luminance of surface light emission on the lens 4 can be further increased.
