<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera capable of easily photographing an object image while easily confirming the object image even if a photographer himself/herself is the object to perform photographing, and solely checking a photographed image. <P>SOLUTION: A display unit 1 is formed so that an inorganic EL display element 41-1, an ECD 42 and an organic EL display element 41-2 are stacked in this order from the back surface side to the front surface side of the camera 100. By operating the element 41-1, the back surface side of the camera 100 is irradiated with a light, a present picked-up image or an already photographed recording image in a CCD 5 are read from a built-in memory 12 and displayed.
