<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a three-dimensional image in a two-dimensional display apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: Regarding display at a time tn, a length hr of a vertical right end side, a length hl of a left side and a horizontal length L of a first letter at a position Tn on a circumference are calculated and bitmap data to which the first letter is deformed are stored in a memory corresponding to a position Tn and displayed at the position Tn on the circumference (S39 in a figure). At the same time, at respective positions T(n-1) to T1 on the circumference, a length hr of a vertical right end side, a length hl of a left side and a horizontal length L of each letter on the circumference are calculated and bitmap data to which each letter is deformed are displayed at each corresponding position on the circumference.
