PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent occurrence of developer deterioration and image irregularity caused by that the frictional heat of a bearing and a sealing member of a developing roller is conducted to the image forming area of the developing roller. SOLUTION: The end part of the roller main body 45 of the developing roller 41 has a low heat conductive part 48 whose thickness is less than the other parts. A flange member 46 is fitted in the low heat conductive part 48, and a bearing 56 is interposed between the flange member 46 and the shaft 54 of a magnet roller 42. The sealing member 56 fixed to a developer container 40 is slid over the peripheral face of the low heat conductive part 48, thereby preventing a developer leak. The thickness t of the low heat conductive part 50 is 1/2 or less of the thickness T of the image forming area 47. A distance from the end 48a of the low heat conductive part 48 to the flange member 46 and a distance B from the end 48a of the low heat conductive part 48 to the sealing member 58 are set to A≥0.5 mm and B≥0.5 mm, respectively.
