PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jetting apparatus preventing from staining a target and generating inferiority of discharging of a liquid jetting head. SOLUTION: The liquid jetting apparatus has a carriage 110 storing the liquid jetting head 112 discharging a liquid, and a platen part 130 wherein the target P1 carried by a delivery roller 120 is arranged. The platen part 130 is characterized by forming a liquid absorbing part 137 or the like absorbing the liquid forced out to the outside when the liquid is discharged to the edge part of the target P1, and a liquid sucking part 136 or the like sucking the liquid absorbed in the liquid absorbing part 137 or the like.
