PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal processor capable of controlling the playback effects of video and audio. SOLUTION: A point setting part 26A sets a position on the time axis of a main image signal outputted from a buffer memory 27 as a registration point, a playback control part 26B causes the buffer memory 27 to output succeeding image frames continuing from the registration point as a starting point, a capture processing part 4 generates a registration image on the basis of at least one image frame of the main image signal in the vicinity of the registration point, a point recording part 26D writes the registration point as a recorded point into a memory 35 and writes the registration image held in the capture processing part as a recorded image corresponding to the recorded point into the memory 35, and a point calling part 26C reads the recorded image and the read recorded point from the memory 35.
