摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate unit wherein a plurality of electronic components can be mounted and demounted on an FPC at a low cost with good working efficiency, and to provide an electro-optical device, an electronic apparatus, a method of connecting substrates using the substrate unit, and a method of manufacturing the electro-optical device. SOLUTION: The substrate unit comprises a first substrate 10 having contact terminals 12 on one face 10b thereof; a second substrate 20 having contact terminals 22 on one face 20a thereof; a positioning frame 1 having a position defining section for defining the positions of the first substrate 10 and the second substrate 20 when the first substrate 10 and the second substrate 20 are located, in such a manner that the contact terminals 12 and 22 formed on each one face 10b and 20a of the first and second substrates 10 and 20 may face each other; and anisotropic conductors 6 which are arranged within the positioning frame 1 and establish conductivity paths between the first substrate 10 and the second substrate 20, by being connected to the contact terminals 12 and 22 of the first and second substrate 10 and 20 which are so arranged as to face each other.
