PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate risk that delivery of a coin piles up by a cluster of the coins generated inside a coin bucket, in a conventional hopper device. SOLUTION: The coin bucket 2 is formed with a projecting stripe 25 projecting from the upper end to the lower end of the inner circumferential face 22b. Accordingly, when discharging the coin C to the outside from a coin delivery port 33e by a coin delivery unit 3, the cluster C1 of the coins C generated inside the coin bucket 2 is abutted on the first projecting stripe 25 to apply a shock to the cluster C1 of the coins C. Accordingly, the cluster C1 of the coins C generated inside the coin bucket 2 is broken, and the coin C can be discharged to the outside from the coin delivery port 33e by the coin delivery unit 3.
