PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which a photoreceptor drum comes in contact with a transfer means, and though a charge eliminating means is not disposed, adhesion of paper dust is suppressed. SOLUTION: In the image forming apparatus 10 in which a charging means, an exposure means, a developing means, a transfer means and a cleaning means are arranged around an electrophotographic photoreceptor drum and a charge eliminating means is not disposed, a single layer type electrophotographic photoreceptor contains a compound represented by formula (1) (where R<SB>1</SB>-R<SB>15</SB>are the same or different and each represent an aliphatic group, aryl group or H, at least one of R<SB>1</SB>-R<SB>14</SB>is a≥3C aliphatic group, and n and m are each an integer of 1-4) as a hole transfer agent in a photosensitive layer.
